North Pennines at Night Exhibition

This event is part of the second annual North Pennines Stargazing Festival running between 20 Oct-04 Nov 2018, during Half-Term.   Organised by the North Pennines AONB Partnership and supported by: Durham County Council; Northumberland County Council and Visit County Durham, the 2018 Stargazing Festival will take advantage of the area's stunning dark skyscape with 30 events over the two weeks unlocking the wonders of the night sky. If you are an existing Supporting Members of North Pennines Observatory you can enjoy discounted ticket prices for some paid-for events during the festival.

This exhibition will make use of a large darkened space to project work by local photographers, featuring the dark skies and landscapes of the AONB and UNESCO Global Geopark.

This is an immersive experience, shown on a 10-minute rolling basis. Just turn up, stay as long as you like, and enjoy the show.
