After many months the planet Mars is still visible in the evening sky and this will be the focus for this months event.

As well as observing it through the telescopes Fred Stevenson will give a talk about the planet and its exploration - past, present and future. Mars has always been of interest as a possible habitat for extra-terrestrial life - we will consider the evidence  for and against.

Remember to wrap up warm, wear appropriate footwear and to bring a torch to see your way back to your car. DIRECTIONS

Pre-registration by Friday 8th Feb is required for Members to attend this event at no cost.

(Note: If this event becomes over-subscribed then an additional event will be arranged for a later date)
